Yamaha AS1 motorcycle modelTechnical Specifications of Yamaha AS1

Introduced in 1967, this miniature version of a motorcycle shared many features and parts from the FS1E moped, but twisted into a roadster design. It was Yamaha’s first 125cc twin cylinder sports model. The Yamaha AS1 had an innovative 5-port engine, twin carburetors, the Yamaha famous Autolube oil supply pump and 5-speed transmission.

There were two variations introduced. The standard one for “commuter-style” use and a scrambler version with high-mount exhausts.
